The region around Villa Thermale has so much to offer. Be it culinary, sports or adventure – here you have all the possibilities for exciting, active and enjoyable excursions. Numerous thermal baths, outdoor pools and bathing lakes can be reached in a very short time and also the legendary Riegersburg with the surrounding manufactories is only 15 minutes away by car. Hiking

The "Experience Trail of the Senses" leads directly past the Villa Thermale. On 12 kilometers you can enjoy a fabulous view of the volcanic country “Vulkanland” and learn interesting things about the nature, people and history of the region. Eleven stations offer relaxation and sometimes also drinks and refreshments (duration: approx. 4 hours).

Biking

With its gentle hills and the high density of excursion destinations, the region invites you to enjoy cycling. We are happy to offer bicycles for hire, you can borrow e-bikes directly in the village from Radsport Samer. You can also use our lockable garage to park your bikes. We recommend the thermal cycle path R12 very close by.

The Riegersburg

The Riegersburg towers proud and mighty on the 482 meter high volcanic rock, from which you can see the south-east Styrian hills. In addition to the three museums in the castle, there are also experiences such as the bird of prey show, the castle blacksmith and a via ferrata.
